Bright Minds Occupational Therapy is a paediatric Occupational Therapy service, providing assessment, intervention and support to children aged 0-18 years with learning challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other sensory and developmental disabilities.
We are a mobile service, with bases in Secret Harbour and Kalgoorlie, and service surrounding areas of each location.
Bright Minds Occupational Therapy will be changing to Bright Minds Therapy in 2019 with the introduction of Speech Pathology Services in our Kalgoorlie Team.

Bright Minds Occupational Therapy provides services to individual clients and families from Mandurah to Wellard and everywhere in between. We also have a base in Kalgoorlie with a full time Occupational Therapist working throughout school terms ; providing private services and school based contract work.

To provide a locally based and operated, high quality, family centred Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology assessment and service to children and families in the Goldfields and South Perth Region (Kwinana/Rockingham/Mandurah).
To provide contractible services to schools, including screening and ongoing services to support teachers to bridge the gaps between the health department and education department.
To provide community based services and support to help develop parent and communities capabilities and capacity in regards to child development and well being.
To work within the communities with other organisations to bridge the gaps in services for families and community.
Bright Minds Occupational Therapy began in Kalgoorlie in 2011 operating under the business name of ‘Hayley Storr - Occupational Therapy’.
In 2014 the business moved to Secret Harbour and slowly grew through word of mouth; and continuesd to service Kalgoorlie with a full time occupational therapist employed through school terms. In January 2019 the business base relocated back to Kalgoorlie where the team has expanded to include 1 full time and 2 part time occupational Therapists as well as a Speech Pathologist.
Bright Minds Occupational Therapy currently has one full time Occupational Therapist servicing Wellard, Kwinana, Rockingham, Mandurah and everywhere in between.
Bright Minds Therapy is contracted by many independent government schools in the goldfields; to provide occupational therapy and Speech Pathology services and support to students with learning challenges; and build capacity in school staff to support their students to access the curriculuum.
Bright Minds Therapy is also contracted by the Shire of Coolgardie to provide families with a free Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology Service and run capacity building and education sessions in the Coolgardie and Kambalda Communities.
Bright Minds Therapy provides a private Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology Service to families and children in Kalgoorlie; through BSI, HCWA, NDIS, PITS, Ronald McDonald, Medicare and priavte funding.
Bright Minds Occupational Therapy is committed to continued improvement and growth in order to better meet the community’s needs, including registration with the NDIS by its scheduled roll out date.
